Prophet Zacharia is described as an ‘Aaah-er’ in Quraan. God calls him “Awwah” – he sighs a lot. Sighing is the function of Heart. When heart is longing for The One, one sighs and sighs, and when one’s heart is really troubled with the pull of longing, one’s mouth keeps on calling out with Allah’s “Aaaah” sound.
Aaaaaah, ya Allah, Aaaaah.
Zacharia was “Awwahon 7aleem” (an Aaah-er and beautifully patient). He recieved God’s favors after demonstrating a lot of longing and a lot of beautiful patience in waiting for God’s response. Unwavered faith in Allah is disconnected from the shakles of Time.
So, Aaaaah ya Allah, Aaaaah…
